A long time ago, about three or four years ago, I already wanted to write a novel.
The motivation at the time was simple, just because several favorite online novels were updated too slowly, and I wrote impulsively under loneliness.
At that time, progress was very fast. In half a month, 50,000 words had been settled.
Just looking back from the perspective of a novel fan, the conclusion is only two words: garbage.
It turns out that writing books is really hard. What I want to express in my heart is sometimes completely different from what is written.
The reason is just a matter of your level.
But I didn’t give up. As a novel fan, I am also a comic fan. I have seen many classic or not classic comics.
At the time, I had a very naive idea. I felt that as long as I wrote more and revised more, there would be progress. Because a lot of classic comics are very bad at the beginning.
With this mentality, I am constantly revising the original. Unconsciously, the original was rewritten five times.
It’s true, not a modification, but a complete rewrite. During the period, due to work reasons, it continued several times.
I’m a very lazy person, but at the same time I’m a bit nervous and demanding perfection. I can’t upload junk works that I just want to vomit to disgusting others. Had to rewrite it again and again.
In the end, the novel that has already written nearly 110,000 words has not been uploaded. Maybe I will upload it if I don’t think I can open it that day.
As of now, The Awakening-Like Yesterday is a recent work. It has been written for about three or four months. I originally wanted to write 200,000 or 300,000 words before uploading it, but I became less and less passionate about writing, so I uploaded it.
The original name of the novel was “Awakening”, but when it was uploaded, it was found that someone already used the title, so it changed to this.
In the beginning, I thought about changing a book title that was more exaggerated, such as “a story that the heroes of the Song Dynasty had to tell”, “heavy birthday”, “one word: strong” and other titles. This can at least arouse some people’s curiosity to trick the click. But in the end I still couldn’t get through that level.
By the way, start advertising. In terms of many novel sites, the starting point is indeed more professional. The number of readers is also large. So I first chose to upload at the starting point. Then, in order to expand the publicity, it was uploaded on several other websites. However, “I swear in the name of my grandpa”, I update the starting point every day. I hope that the reviewers of the starting point, GGJJ, will not misunderstand.
